New Additions: Mbappé and Endrick

The arrival of French superstar Kylian Mbappé has been the highlight of Real Madrid’s transfer activities this summer. After years of speculation and near misses, Los Blancos finally secured the services of the PSG forward. Mbappé’s addition brings a new level of firepower to Madrid’s attack, alongside young Brazilian talent Endrick, who has been touted as one of the brightest prospects in world football.

Defensive Departures and Speculations

Despite these major signings, Real Madrid has seen some notable departures, particularly in defense. Veteran defender Nacho Fernandez has signed with Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah, while young talent Rafa Marín has moved to Napoli on a permanent deal. These exits have led to speculation that Real Madrid might still be in the market for a center-back, especially after missing out on Leny Yoro, who chose to join Manchester United instead.

Ancelotti’s Confidence in the Current Squad

However, Ancelotti has quashed these rumors, stating unequivocally that the squad is “closed.” The Italian manager expressed confidence in the club’s current defensive options, highlighting the return of Jesús Vallejo and the recovery of David Alaba. Ancelotti also mentioned the young talents in the squad, including Joan, Jacobo, and Raul Asencio, who have been impressing in training.

“The squad is closed. Vallejo is back, Alaba is recovering. We have young center-backs like Joan, Jacobo, and Raul [Asencio] who are training and have a lot of quality. I believe we are well covered in this position,” Ancelotti stated.

Looking Ahead

With the squad now set, Real Madrid fans will be eager to see how the new signings integrate into the team and what impact they will have on the upcoming season. The club’s focus will now shift entirely to on-field performances, aiming to reclaim the La Liga title and make a deep run in the Champions League.
