Spain captain Álvaro Morata has officially completed a move to Milan from Atlético Madrid.
The contract runs until 30 June 2028, with an option to extend for an extra year. It’s been reported that Atleti have received the €13 million fee that was written into the striker’s contract as a release clause.
Morata comes off the back of winning EURO 2024 with Spain, and will wear the number seven shirt with Milan.
The highly decorated player has scored a total of 172 goals in 506 appearances during his club career, and returns to Italy after a spell with Juventus between 2014 and 2016.
