Manchester United surged into the top 10 spenders in Europe during the summer of 2024, only to be surpassed once more by Aston Villa.

The 2024 summer transfer window is now open, with numerous confirmed deals already in place.

The Biggest Spending Clubs in Europe This Summer

10. Nottingham Forest – £56 million

Nottingham Forest re-entered the top 10 with the acquisition of Nikola Milenkovic.

9. West Ham – £59.6 million

West Ham climbed into the top ranks by spending £40 million to secure Max Kilman from Premier League rivals Wolves. This adds to their earlier signing of Brazilian teenager Luis Guilherme for over £19 million.

8.Ipswich Town – £60.7 million

Ipswich Town, benefiting from their Premier League status, secured Omari Hutchinson permanently, signed Jacob Greaves from Hull City, beat out competitors for Manchester City’s Liam Delap, and brought in Arijanet Muric from Burnley.
